Spa Sentiments Facial Steam Tea
Want a simple, yet rejuvenating treat for dull, tired
skin? Steam your face! Sweating out impurities is a gentle,
relaxing way to clarify the skin, boost circulation and help skin cells
breathe more freely.
These calming, all natural facial steam teas are like an herbal sauna
for your face... except you don't need a facial steam machine to use
them. The dried herbs and botanicals help detoxify and deeply
cleanse the pores for a beautiful, glowing complexion.
How do you steam your face?
Bring the water to a boil then carefully pour 2 to 3 cups into a bowl and add 2 to 4 tablespoons of the facial steam herbs.
You are now ready to steam your face. Simply drape a towel over
your head and lean over the bowl for 5 to 10 minutes. Keep your
eyes closed while steaming. When you're finished steaming, rinse
your face with cool to slightly warm water and follow up with your
toner to close the pores. For best results, gently wash your face before
steaming.
How often should you steam your face?
Steam your face 1 to 4 times monthly or as needed. This facial
steam tea is loose, not in bags so you can easily adjust the amount you
prefer to use. Although not needed, these teas can also be used with most
facial steam machines or home facial sauna systems but we recommend checking the
manufacturer's specs prior to using.
Note: This is a very relaxing and beneficial facial tea,
but please use caution when handling hot, steamy tea. As with any
hot tea, it can cause burns. Be sure to keep your face a safe distance (at least 12 inches) from the hot, steamy water.
